This video will show you how I built an adjustable/mobile, outfeed/assembly table for my Delta, “Great White” Uni-Saw. This table is unique and unlike many of the others you’ll find on YouTube. The big difference is that it is not only mobile, but it also features an adjustable, floating, torsion box table that can be fully adjusted. The table surface can be adjusted for height as you might expect, but the plane of the table can also be adjusted to match that of the table saw. This is quite necessary as my shop floor is not flat, but very uneven. I have provided FREE PLANS for this build with dimensions, so you can build one yourself. You may have to alter the dimensions to meet the requirements of your individual table saw.

The drawings I offer in pdf are not what I would call “complete” as they do not contain all the notes and dimensions I might normally include when I put out plans for the general public. This is because I produced theses for myself to use as a general guide while I was working in the shop, and I did not need a fully complete set of drawings. That being said, a savvy person should easily be able to figure out how to build this type of table without the additional information I might normally include, simply by watching the video and then comparing the video with the drawings. Sorry – there is no materials list or cut list included here.

The configuration and dimensions used were determined by the size and dimensions of my table saw, the small size of my shop which requires all equipment to be mobile, and the fact my shop floor is so rough and uneven.

I still have not yet completed the table with drawers or shelves, French cleats, paper roll, hangers, etc., however the table is certainly functional as an outfeed/assembly table, which it’s primary purpose. I stopped the project at this point as I have to have about 16 five-panel benches built and delivered within the next two weeks, and I don’t have the time to take this project further at the moment. A subsequent video will show the addition of the various features I wish to include to the point I can consider this project completed.
