My shop is so packed full of stuff, I also used the back of my 1-ton diesel pick-up (plow truck) to store even more stuff. I decided to tackle the truck today in order to remove the drywall cart and use it in the shop for my plywood. In doing so, I was quite pleased and happy to find more used sails I had forgotten about, and numerous other marine items and hardware.

I found my fisherman’s anchor which will prove quite valuable while cruising, and a couple of main sail covers too! I was very happy indeed.

Of course, just as I began to pick up momentum with getting the shop squared way and prepped to begin boat building, my wife decided I needed another project to keep me busy, and one that had to get done soon. I small wooden shelf unit had to be shortened in width from 26-3/4” down to 22-1/2” to fit her office and compliment the processing bench I made her a couple of weeks ago.

Well, life’s a beach (but then the tide rolls in). Better get to work!
