A struggle against the weather this week!

This is the sixth episode of the 18’ sailboat build and is all about milling 2 x 4 framing lumber to the proper cross section of the stringers, making a scarfing jig for he table saw, cutting scarf joints at the ends of the stringers, and gluing the scarf joints together to make the stringers long enough as required to fit the boat. In addition, I decided to add a watertight, collision bulkhead in the stern and include video of the bulkhead fabrication.

I had planned on including video footage of the stringer and collision bulkhead installation on the boat hull framework & strongback, but inclement weather kept that from happening. Maybe next time?
